We would like to congratulate the drivers that were testing or racing with us over the last two weeks as they all put in great performances.
  Clay Pigeon Test:

At the open pit lane test at Clay Pigeon last weekend Adam Watts made his return to outdoor Karting after a period away and got straight back into the swing of things and made good progress throughout the day. Zac Spence also took part in his first ever test with the team and was clearly putting into practice his skills from the Academy by getting down into competitive times and had the kart really dancing. Also with us was Kourosh Asefi who was making great progress throughout the day, finishing two seconds a lap faster, so a fantastic improvement!

  Forest Edge Event:
  Lewis Halliday during ARKS Test
At the Forest Edge meeting Kieran Chidgzey and Lewis Halliday joined the regular team drivers of Thomas Wylie, James Reid, Ralph Wylie, Tara Wylie, Kourosh Asefi and Mike Boswell. Kieran on only his second test with the team was not fazed by the changeable conditions and pushed hard in the damp conditions on slick tyres and was the quickest in his group! Lewis Halliday was booked in to take his ARKS test so the pressure was on, however Lewis blew away the qualifying time and comfortably passed both the written and track elements of the test, which will now allow him to compete in MSA race events, so watch this space. Thomas Wylie was on good form putting in his personal

best performance to date with a really good improvement in both laptime and race results with Thomas running in the top ten for several of the races. Three times Academy Champion James Reid has continued his amazing string of results with numerous top Novice awards and after making another big jump forward in performance he is in a good position to generate strong results at his next event when he will be coming off his Novice plates.

After a month off we welcomed back both Ralph and Tara Wylie who both quickly got back up to speed. Tara made good progressive improvement throughout the day and the ever-fearless Ralph successfully made the step up to Honda Cadet.

Following on from his jump forward in performance from the Clay Pigeon test Kourosh Asefi made another step forward after a few more adjustments to set up and racing lines. After taking delivery of his brand new Gillard chassis, Mike Boswell was instantly pleased with the feel of the kart and after some key set up adjustments to release extra speed out of the chassis Mike was able to put in his personal best time with a whopping 1 second improvement, which equals one very happy Mike!
