During the August Forest Edge race weekend all the team drivers continued to improve on their performance with either personal best results or achieving very important milestones.
  Thomas Wylie:

After a difficult start to the season Honda Cadet driver Thomas Wylie is now finding his feet with his new Project One chassis and has been making significant improvement in both pace and race craft. This weekend saw Thomas really putting his raw speed and talent into good effect during the races, which saw him running in the top 3 during the second heat!

  James Reid:

After successfully completing five rounds, Junior Max driver James Reid has now come off his Novice plates, which had been restricting him to back row starts for the previous events. With this change however brought the daunting aspect of having to start in the pack. James though has continued his fantastic rate of development, which saw him make another significant jump forward in pace over the weekend, resulting in him achieving fifth fastest time in the first heat, an 8th place finish in the second heat after running in the top 4 for most of the race. This was then topped off by achieving an amazing 6th place in the Final on his first event off his Novice plates!

  Adam Watts:

After another successful test Mini Max driver, Adam Watts took his ARKS test on the Saturday of the Forest race event and comfortably passed even after having to drive through extremely weather conditions which saw the circuit become water logged in minutes and as a result red flagged. Adam drove very mutually and made very good progress throughout the weekend, which saw Adam comfortably running in the top 10 in his first ever race from the back of the grid- one amazing drive and weekend!

  Mike Boswell:

After recently taking delivery of his new Gillard chassis, Rotax 177 driver Mike Boswell is really starting to get to grips with it and his times are tumbling with another significant jump in performance achieved during the Sunday with a slight change in driving style, releasing extra speed from the chassis. This extra speed saw Mike able to race comfortable in the top 10 for the first time!

  Kourosh Asefi:

A big weekend for Honda Cadet driver Kourosh Asefi as it was also his first ever race weekend. In recent tests Kourosh has been achieving important step forwards in performance, however his engine was holding him back so for the weekend he took delivery of a new replacement engine, supplied by the team, which saw him make a whopping two second improvement in lap time!

  Ralph Wylie:

After recently making the step up from Bambino to Honda Cadet Ralph has been finding his feet and has made a substantial leap forward in lap time. Ralph improved his time by over 10 seconds after making improvements in race lines and key driving techniques. This brings him within 5 seconds of the target time for competitive racing – so watch this space.

From all the team we would like to congratulate all the drivers on their recent successes, well done!
